PayPal debit card pull?

I'm in the garden... and I am staying in the garden until the right time... but I use PayPal an awful lot for ebay transactions because I sell a lot on the website. I'm always getting funds transfered to my account and I've just come across a cool feature: PayPal Debit Card! I went to the app page and it's asking for my social security card to preform and identification and credit check... hmmm... does PayPal pull at my credit score (HP or SP) to apply for a DEBIT card? I meet the requirements of:

Have a Premier or Business account in the U.S.
Have been a PayPal member for at least 60 days.
Have a confirmed address. The easiest way to confirm an address is to link a credit card whose monthly statement is sent to a physical street address (not a P.O. box).
Provide your Social Security number and your date of birth.
Be an active PayPal member in good standing.

However, I currently have 12 inquiries on my account (hence the gardening) and I really do not want or need a 13th... Is PayPal going to pull at my credit or am I safe to apply for a PayPal DEBIT card? Thank you!

I didn't have a HP for the PayPal debit card. I think they need your SS# for identify credit card act.
