Had great and unexpected success with PenFed earlier this month with my Cash Rewards approval and a nice rate on a used auto loan that I'm still thinking over. Had no luck however with the PLOC or even the Thrify Credit. Saw that some others here have had luck with recon or even after completing a PendFed survey. Looked back through my emails and sure enough there was a survey from a few days after my approvals. Completed it and let them know how happy I was with everything except being a bit confused as to pulling nice approvals on a card and auto loan but no luck with a LOC. Got a call today from them as followup to the survey. A manager called me and we spoke for a bit and I told him I wondered why the card would be approved at such a high SL and nothing on the LOC. He said it might have been because of the high approval that nothing else went through for now. He offered to review the CLOC app and spent a couple minutes going over my report. Made no mention of all the new credit over the past year but said he saw I had quite a few high CL's and several were with NFCU and had been managed well. He told me he'd overide the CLOC denial and approve it for 5k to start. Also approved Thrifty Credit for 1k as well. Really nice guy and I was surprised to get the call. CLOC was showing less than ten minutes after getting off the phone. Definately worth a recon or completing their survey if you get denied with them.

Interesting note about the survey. Also got one. Maybe I'll fill it out anc complain about my starting limit.

You certainly could Cap! Nitrov just did a recon and their cli went from $5 to $7500 to $20k!!!!
