Planning Spree - Best Place to get Credit Reports?

I have successfully applied for 2 credit cards recently and I went 2 for 2.

But I want to consider doing a (further) credit card spree with the intent to maximize new credit.

To help me make a good spree plan where is the best place to get my credit reports?

I have Navy FICO score, Discover FICO score, FNBO FICO score.  But those scores don't give me all the info I need to make decisions, like  number of inquiries, etc, right?

Re: Planning Spree - Where is Best Place to get Credit Report?

Before planning another app spree to get more credit, may I suggest patience and wait on applying for more credit cards for the time being? You already have two approvals so unless you have more spend than the normal person has I would let the new cards settle for a bit before applying again. Use the time to analyze your spend and current lineup, then plan your next apps accordingly

With that said for a free look at a credit report I recommend at least getting a look by signing up with creditscore.com which gives a free Experian FICO 08 and all things like utilization, pulls, accounts, and so on. For the other two bureaus I would get Credit Karma which gives TU and EQ reports; score won't be useful since they use Vantage 3.0 but will help with other reporting like pulls, balances reporting, and so on

Re: Planning Spree - Where is Best Place to get Credit Report?

Thank you for the great information!

I want to consider applying for a bunch of new credit cards while my utilization is very low (2%) so I can maximize my chance of approvals.

I want the new credit cards as additional financial insurance (to take balance transfers should I need them) as I build my business during the next 12 to 18 months.

MyFICO provides 28 scores but not for free. Experian.com has a free trial that can allegedly be repeated indefinitely. Credit.com also has a free trial with 28 fico scores.

annualcreditreport.com for official credit reports. It's 1 per week per bureau due to covid.

You can also obtain your credit reports via annualcreditreport.com -- complimentary until early 2022.

When you say "a bunch of new credit cards", what do you consider "a bunch"? 5, 10, 15...?  What banks/institutions are you considering?

How many exactly constitutes a spree? 🤣 Me personally, I would say 3+ new apps in close proximity. I get queezy at 2 so take that for what its worth. Been down the spree route before and have since learned the lingering effects of such behavior. It was exhilarating at first but now tread carefully going forward.

Others have already mentioned annualCreditReport.com, and there is also Experian which has 7-day free trial that can give you the scores and reports of all 3 CBs.
