When using Plastiq with a credit card, is the fee (2.85%) lumped in with the desired payment or is it a separate charge on the credit card? For example, $100 + $2.85 = $102.85 single charge or $100 and $2.85 separate charges? Thanks.

It's lumped in. So you see one charge of $102.85 on your credit card.

Great. Thank you.
And FYI the charge comes through with the name of the payee. I pay my mortgage with BMO Harris Bank through Plastic, so the charge appears as "PQ *BMO HARRIS BANK NA". I've been charging it to my PayPal 2% Mastercard, since it's 2% on every purchase it doesn't show you any MCC merchant coding. As I recall when I used a different card it coded as "Lodging", Plastic can use different merchant codes depending on what you're paying,

That's good info. Thanks.
Off topic, but has anyone received any targeted Plastiq offers lately? There's been a few times in the past where they've waived fees on (say) 3 payments of X amount. I've enjoyed taking advantage of those in the past like making 3 mortgage payments at once in order to scoop up a little CB or to hit a spend requirement.
I've been getting different ones at various intervals and the most recent FFD promo I received ended Dec 31.

I received an offer for $1000 FFD to link quickbooks. I don't use quickbooks, but I do now
Are these FFD offers relatively new?
Any offers I ever received never mentioned FFD. They were always along the line of "You get 3 no-fee payments for the month of December" for example.

Nope, they've had them for sometime. They may have changed their incentive offers for a variety of customers depending on how often you're using Plastiq.
