Please help with student loan

I've posted this before and haven't really had a response so I'm trying again....

I had a student loan and paid over a few years. It went delinquent in 2003.

Sent to collections. Paid remaining balance to CA in 2005. The student loan is showing on my CR as

not paid with a balance.

I called student loan company... said I have to contact CA to update. CAlled CA and they said I need to call CRA. Disputed with CRA - came back as verified/updated... but still shows not paid.

called back OC - said they can't help. Called CA, they can't help.

Should I GW OC? what should I do? OH - TU deleted OC...forgot about that one. EX and EQ came back as verified.

My understanding is that GW's don't work with student loans. Perhaps someone else might know more about it.

I know GW's might not work... I just don't know what to do.

one more question... it is showing as DOLA on my CR as a date I don't think is right. Can I call or write the orginial student loan co. and request a record of my payments? Is that debt validation and can you do that for a student loan?

Have you tried MOV with the CRAs?

DV doesn't really apply to student loans.

I don't know what an MOV is. I will go look it up in the forum... but haven't tried that.

I don't know if you can answer this but why would TU delete it from my CR and EX and EQ verify the debt?

You would have to inquire with the CRA on why one deleted and one verified.
