Hi Everybody,

Has anybody had any encounters with Prosper.com pertaining to personal loans?  I'm thinking of obtaining a loan from them for credit-card debt consolidation; I believe I might get a 9% interest with my FICO Scores (Equifax - 703, TransUnion - 681, Experian ("Plus") - 693).

Are you sure you want to go with someone you have never heard of? I have not heard about them and I personally would refrain from personal loans from such entities. Stick to a CU and or join one and take that route. I would always encourage a savings secured loan, if you have the funds for it and if you can afford to lock the funds up until debt repayment is accomplished!
