Public Record Added by Experian

I pulled my credit reports about a month ago in hopes of applying for a mortgage loan soon. On the Experian report, there was a bankruptcy from Utah that was not mine and an address in Utah as well. I have never lived or been to Utah. I immediately disputed the public record and called the Utah courthouse to find out more information. The receptionist did a search by SSN and there were no cases referenced to it. After a few weeks, Experian deleted the BK. Just today, I logged onto their website to view my CR again to dispute an additional item. Now there is a civil judgment/public record, again from Utah. It is a different case number than before. What is going on??

Re: Public Record Added by Experian

do a dispute  NOT MINE

Copy your old CR  showing the BK......copy where it was deleted    copy new one     I would do by mail CMRRR   send a dispute with the FTC!!!!!!!

Call the courthouse & see if you can get the same person that you talked to before.......ask if they can send you a letter...on courthouse letterhead....stating that BK case #    and the new judgment  case #  is not yours....... also put in there that you have no public record and never had in that state.

IF the dispute comes back verified      send the CRA a  MOV       This is a paper trail and they could be setting themself (CRA) up for a big lawsuit (by you) and big fines from the FTC

Re: Public Record Added by Experian

Here we go again... Thanks for your advice and letting me know about the opportunity to file with the FTC. I am going to gather this stuff up tomorrow and mail it all out.

If everyone that the CRAs and CAs  have screwed over filed with the FTC  maybe they would move faster to correct these things.
