I have recently discovered that (2) accounts have been applied for using my social security number/address etc. A few months ago I was trying to do my granddaughter a favor and let her friend stay with us. I am way too trusting and did not ask enough questions beforehand. I have had several items come up missing the last couple of months. My granddaughter has some mental health/behavioral issues and I believe that she gave my information to the friend. I also believe the friend is responsible for most of the missing items and that my granddaughter was involved. I can't legally make my granddaughter leave because she is only 18. In Alabama she is considered a minor until the age of 19. I am pressing charges or trying to against my grandaughter for stealing my almost new smart TV. I have her on the Arlo camera wheeling a large object down my driveway (covered with a blanket). I am trying to evict her friend since the friend has mail coming to my house.
Can I obtain copies of the credit applications so that I can press charges? One applicaton was for Sally Mae adding me as a co-signer to a Smart Plus Parent Loan. The other was for an on-line loan company One Main Financial. In the Sally Mae instance they sent a letter denying my application. The One Main Financial I noticed a credit inquiry so I called them. I was able to have them deny the application. The information given on the application was my social security number and address. They were using a different email address and phone number.
Not the first time something like this has happened on here. First go file a Police Report.

Sorry to hear this.
I agree with @FireMedic1 that your first step is to file a police report.
Next step would be to freeze all your credit reports.
