Qualifying Purchases

I haven't used my rewards cards much, and I was wondering if paying, say, my car note would be a qualifying purchase for points?

Re: Qualifying Purchases

Most CC's will not allow you to pay a different loan using the credit card.   You could take out a cash advance, but you would probably not earn any rewards.  Moreover, the fees would be much more than any rewards you could earn.

There are people who try to get around the rules.  It is referred to as manufactured spending.  If you CCC thinks your are doing this they can cancel your CC.
