Quarterly Score Increases?

Yesterday I met with a houseling counselor to review my credit file and discuss my plan for buying a home. He mentioned that credit scores are only updated quarterly. Is that true? I am a little confused because I subscribe to Score Watch and see my score increase on a regular basis.

Starting Score: 519 Circa 2010
Current Score: EQ: 659 3.31.14
Goal Score: 700

It sounds like you should talk to your houseling counselor to join this wonderful forum and learn more about credit!

I agree ! He was saying some questionable things. I think I am going to stick with the advice given here considering that in a little over a year and a half I have managed to raise my scores over 120 points.
