I had 2 collections on my reports. They were not mine. I hsve disputed them. One was removed from my report by all 3 agencies. Transunion came back and said the second collection was verified. Knowing this was not possible I called to dispute there findings. I was informed that transunion verified all my info was correct and the source they used was the frigging collection agency. What a suprise that a company trying to collect money on a debt they bought "verified" the debt to be accurate. So... I called the OC (Wachovia) and asked them about it. After giving them my name n SS# they verified what I already knew. No record of me ever having an account with them. I immediately called transunion back, and informed them of my actions. The rep had already calld wachovia and was informed by them of the same thing I was told. NO DEBT! So transunion deleted the collection from my report. Anyway my question is will transunion share this info with the other Agencies, or must I do this all myself?
