Question about addressing letters

If the debt was incurred in my maiden name, and I have since married, which would I use in my letter? If it means anything, I only have all but the last 4 digits of the account number, so would there be an issue in them looking up the account?

Re: Question about addressing letters

I would use the name that the account is under, but I'd reference both names in the letter. Maybe sign with your new name but say "formerly XXX." That's what I've done (I changed my name, not gotten married Smiley Happy).
