Question about credit score

I have a quick question about credit scoring. Right I currently have 2 auto loans in good standing on my credit reports. My husband and I decided to refi one of the loans for a better interest rate. When applying we decided to refi in his name only since his scores are far better than mine and I'm currently a stay at home mom so I have no income. So my question is when the refi goes through will the tradeline be deleted from my credit report or will it just show that the loan has been paid? Also will this affect my score in a negative way? I'm just trying to figure out if we should add me to the loan before we sign the papers.

Thanks!

Hi there.

The loan will report as paid and closed on your reports and this positive account will continue to report for generally 10 years afte the closing date. This helps both your AAoA and credit length history.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

Thank you for clarifying that! I figured it would continue to report but I wasn't sure. We've never done a refi on anything before Smiley Happy

Re: Question about credit score

i think as a general way of thinking, nothing gets deleted from your credit report unless; 1) An allotted amount of time has passed and will automatically be dropped. 2) At the request of the Lender, in which case only a lucky GW letter would get it off.... 3) Misinformation then disputed and removed.

correct me if i'm wrong. Smiley Wink
