Hello all,
I have been pre-approved for an FHA loan. My scores are 587, 623,627 respectively for TU, EQ, EX. I have 1 judgement that remains that I will be taking care of pretty soon. I already had 1 judgement that I paid and got deleted from all 3 bureaus and my score dipped about 8 points. I am wondering if I should just pay this last one and have proof at closing, THEN get it deleted from reports AFTER I close? I don't want to chance it and have my mid score dip just below the "620" FHA is now looking for. Also, I have a paid off car that I had to take a title loan out on to zero out a lot of collection account I had at one point. Is the underwriter going to want to see the title you think or any documentation of the car being paid off? The account is closed/zero'd out on credit reports saying paid.
My underwriter wanted proof that my car was paid off. Couldn't hurt to have it handy.
No experience with judgments.
