Question for the experts

What happens if you dispute an item, and after 30 days when you get your result, it says:

The following item is suppressed pending credit grantor update

What does this mean?  Are they stalling for time?  Or are they confused of what the correction should say?  Do I have grounds for deletion?

I had the same thing on my dispute too. Im curious as well.

Sunny, It might be that they have nothing in their 3rd database & had to contact the OC. Remember they have 30 days unless more info. from a Creditor. That might be their way of reporting to you. IF that is the case they have another 15 days. Keep track of the dates.

If you filed on 7/1   they have 30 -45 days to complete 

I would be ready with CMRRR on day 46 and send for deletions
