Question..

I tried to buy my FICO TU score in January. Well it came back when I talked to a nice lady on the phone that told me I have insufficient credit history. We generally need 6 months of history to generate a tu fico score. But I have a collection account from 2008 due to fall off this August, and a paid collection. Started rebuilding my credit with a Cap 1 Secured and First Premier in October. So, is the insufficient credit history reflecting in the new accounts I have? Do Collections and chargeoffs count as credit history even though they're negative accounts? What should I do do you think?

Re: Question..

You should be at 6 months when those new accounts report this month -- assuming that they started reporting in October.

Re: Question..

Thanks man. The first CC was opened in October. But I'm thinking about just waiting until June, then all my accounts will be reflected, plus the six month garden for the newest ones
