REPORTING QUESTION - PLEASE HELP

Hi,
 
I got an alert today from TC.com  this old mortgage acct came up as a change on my TU as a change. Not sure why b/c pd off since 2004. Is this reporting as a monthly pmt of $837 and is it affecting my score. 
 
it says account closed, balance is 0, pay status is current, past due is 0, payment is $837, opened 3/14/97, and reported on 4/27/04.

 As long as there was no lates, it should be reporting as a positive item.

 

And positive accounts can be reported up to 10yrs, and sometimes longer.

I've read resent treads about positive items reporting 15yrs and longer. 

 

Since it a 5yr old closed account, i don't think it would be affecting your score too much either way.

I would wait and see what the financial guru's says.

There were two 30 day lates back in 2005 when it was a rental property.
