RFBCU LOC (Updated)

After reading about BarryNTexas, ScoreorBeScored and a few others, I decided to apply.

Approved for RFBCU Line of credit for $5000 at 8.9%.  I applied for 15K (thanks baller J) and they countered with 5K. I was hoping my TU CR would have been update with my new TLs…because the highest credit limit on my TU CR was $5000. They did tell me once my TU report has been updated I can request a CLI to the 15K.

Process with RFBCU was easy. The “toughest” part was qualifying for membership…since I don’t reside in TX.

Submitted an Auto Loan App a few minutes ago…waiting on the outcome.

Updated: Approved Auto Loan - 1.99%

When I initally called about membership, I didn't meet any of the qualifications.  RBFCU called me back the next day and explain to me...all I had to do was become a member of the Texas PTA.   I joined the Texas PTA and paid a small membership fee.  I email them a copy of the confirmation and the rest is history!

they have like the lowest PLOC APR I've seen. Even lower than the big hitters .... I love the 7.7% CC too. Took advantage of the 0% offer 3 times.

even the cash advance, I took $ off the card just because .....lmao

the auto loan saved my life. I did a refi from 10.79% to 1.65%. I was happy !!!

I am definitely happy about the PLOC APR? Is the TL still hidden on your CR?

I didn't app for a CC...but maybe I should! lol

I am still smiling about the auto loan. I have another approval another CU for 2.74%....but when I got the 1.99% from RBFCU, I was similing from EAR to EAR!
