WOW....... Sooooooo as of last week, I had 6 credit cards combined around 91% usage and higher. Total credit line was around $60,000 with almost $55,000 used. Last week I paid off 5 in full of them and left 1 card ($10 balance). I checked my credit score today and I went from 650 to 707(Experian) ![]()
When I read through the report today only 2 out of 6 accounts were updated showing paid off. So I still have 4 cards (already paid off) left that need to be updated through the bureau's and hopefully I get another bump. Equifax and Transunion still show I owe $42,000 in CC debt which those scores before (Transunion 657 / now 691) and before (Equifax 655 / now 697). At the beginning of July my credit was 621 and my Chapter 7 bankruptcy brought my score to 650.
I wonder if I can get to 740 once the bureau's update ??????650.PNG

Great score increase! (reducing that debt did you hit the lottery or something?) I see more credit bumps in the near future upon updates occuring.
Congrats!!
