Really confused about what to do with this debt - Please help!

Ideally, You want to show Oldest Address and Current Address. Try to delete everything in the middle if possible.

You want everything listed correctly in CR, in case you apply for new credit.

Well, thank you too! Okay, that makes sense. My husband has a lot of addresses on there. I opted out today too so once I get the personal info and addresses updated, I'll try to fix that $5,000 debt from the bankrupt company somehow.

Are the INGs  hard or soft?   If soft forget them

I did not opt out and will not

CRA will not remove any address that has a creditor reporting  even if old.

I disput either online or by fax    if done by mail should be CMRRR

If trying for names or address I would not do it online  UNLESS is done with first dispute

As soon as you have everything updated, if the accounts in question were included in BK, send copies of judgement to CRA's and ask for DEL. They should delete if they were incl in BK. If they won't then DV the CA showing on the CR.  Good Luck!!!
