Removed Authorized User But Still Reporting

So my sister was an authorized user on my mother's HSBC card and my sister wanted herself removed so they mutually decided to remove her from the account. They cut up the card and threw it all out months ago.

The problem is on TransUnion and CreditKarma it is still reporting on my sisters report. She has tried calling HSBC and calling some credit bureau place but has no idea what to do as none were helpful.

Can anyone give some tutorials on how to get this done?

You can attempt to rectify the issue by going here:

http://www.transunion.com/personal-credit/credit-disputes-alerts-freezes.page

And filing a dispute saying that she is no longer an AU on that account and wishes to have it removed from her CR.

Re: Removed Authorized User But Still Reporting

you will definitely have to file a dispute with TransUnion.  (and the other two if it's reporting there, also).

Re: Removed Authorized User But Still Reporting

When they cut up the card, your mom did remove her from the account too, correct?  Just cutting up a card does nothing...

This happened to me with one of my mom's cards - Exp removed it but TU didn't.  Sounds like TU is your problem too...try contacting TU directly first (your mom, NOT your sister).  If that doesn't work, your sister can dispute as "not mine" on the account.

good luck

Dispute it directly with TU.

I agree, If you dispute with the CRA ( TU )  they should be remove it from her CR.
