Removed inquiry - help with next action

I found an inquiry on my Equifax report from "R & B Receivables Management" that did a hard pull in Dec 06. I called Equifax asking them to provide the "permissible Purpose" for the inquiry, yesterday I received the results "This has been deleted.." but no reason given.

If I want to go after them for violating my rights has this helped me or hurt me?

Please provide feedback for next action-

As long as the Inq was deleted you really have no recourse.
