Removing authorized user accounts

Hello, I  currently starting to repair my credit. I have 2 credit cards that I am a authorized user on. They both have high utilization and lates. Am I able to get them removed from my credit report fairly easy?

Have you tried to contact the credit provider? I'd start from there and get informed directly from them. Should be easy to accomplish.

I would think first step is to contact the cardholders who have the cards, ask them to remove you from authorized user on their cards. 

Try not to get into the discussion of how they can't keep utilization down and don't bring up the late payments.

Yes, simply dispute the cards with all three CRAs noting that you're only an AU and not responsible for the account.  TU and EX will respond rather quickly and EQ will manage to screw up a couple of additional reports before they get to it.
