Sounds reasonable, but I only have creditors reporting since Aug 2020. None of these addresses are coming from them. The only address any of them have is my current address, nothing else.
The thing is, EQ says they've deleted the addresses, but they never actually delete from my report. Not even for a day. I believe that there isn't anyone currently reporting these addresses - perhaps in the past? They must have come from a time from 2008 through 2020 when I stopped using credit altogether. When I started using credit again, all three of my credit reports were completely clean, with the exception of some erroneous personal info. No derogs of any kind. No tradelines at all. Nada!! I have to say, it's been an easy rebuild from clean files. Started at zero in Aug '20 and I'm now at 733 (EX8 & EQ8)....705 (TU8).
I will continue to pester Equifax until those erroneous addresses are finally removed.
If you talk to Equifax see if they will tell you who the creditor(s) are that are reporting the bad addresses. Then you can talk to them and correct it.
Oh my gosh, this is the story of my life with an address that still reports despite 3 times saying it was removed. One of these days, it's going to mess up a security clearance..
