I am currently renting my house. My landlord sent me a link to register for RentTrack.com. It's basically for-fee service to report your rental payments to the three credit reporting companies. They charge $4.95 per month for the service.

Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it worth the $4.95/mo? Do you get the credit boost they claim?

These things are geared to those that have a thin file or not enough info to create a file.  If you don't fit into either one of these catagories, I'd would take a hard pass and try to get a small SCL.
