Reporting Errors across different Bureaus

So I got this account removed from Experian due to reporting errors. I pulled my free Equifax today and it shows this - If I "paid" in Feb 2017, how is the DOFD 2016? Is that Feb 2017 possibly from when they sold the car to the auction? It's conflicting to me. And now it is saying deliquency first reported 2020. This is confusing and I want to dispute but I am not sure if this is correct. The last time I made ANY payment on this was in 2016 and that is for sure.

It was also due to fall off Experian in December 2021 why is it different here?

Transunion has updated the payment history for this account dropping all of the more recent lates (for it being a charge off) and ONLY listing ONE 30 day late. Is this okay? Can it report like this?

Same here, they deleted the payment history ALL together. Is this appropriate?

Thank you for your help!

Re: Reporting Errors across different Bureaus

I will be following this!   This is the exact same situation I'm in with a Discover charge-off in the amount of $3,894 and my credit limit on the card was $3,300.  TU and EQ have my last payment of April 2014 which was a minimum payment and my date of first delinquency as August 1st 2014. I was able to get it easily removed from TU and EQ.  I know for a FACT my last payment was April 2014 because I lost my job in 2014.

Experian on the other hand???  Ohhh they've been a whole nother ball of wax!!!  They are reporting that in April I paid it off. The entire balance. Which Discover said at the time was $3,455.  I've never in my life made a payment of $3+k on a credit card.  Not only that, but they said for the next several months they don't have a record of payments or balance.

They tell me now that my date of first delinquency is September 2014.  It makes ZERO sense.

The charge-off is with an attorney's office (Zwicker and Associates) and I don't want to dispute it because it will be falling off my credit report in May or June.

I tried calling Discover and Experian asking them why they have completely different information than the other CB's and not only that, wrong information and they couldn't seem to care less.

I'd like to see how yours plays out.

Best of luck!

Re: Reporting Errors across different Bureaus

Good luck and keep me updated, you should also qualify for the EE if it is falling off in May or June.
