Review's of NFCU in an area without a branch and Direct Deposit?? Any help is great.

I hope this is the right place to put this post.

I live in an area that does not have a NFCU branch, the closest is about 100 miles away.  We currently use Chase, don't really go to the branch except when we give $100 bills for wedding gifts etc so we go there to get the bills other than that we rarely have a need for a branch.  I don't really have complaints but I recently joined NFCU, have a loan and a CC with them so I am considering sending my direct deposit to them and using them as my primary bank so I can eventually get their checking line of credit and get a good unsecured card with them.  I suspect having 6 grand a month deposited with them will give them a reason to give me a decent CC. 

Does anyone else have an experience with them in a situation like this?  Any issues with getting access to your direct deposit as soon as it is deposited?

We have been banking with them for at least 10 years and I have never even seen a branch. We have a car loan, credit cards and do direct deposit. If I need to deposit a check I use my phone. Availability depends on the amount of the deposit, smaller checks may be immediately available but larger checks may only let a portion be immediately available ($250 available from a $1000 deposit). We once needed to deposit can check that was over the 10k mobile limit so we sent it certified mail. If we need cash we just get cash using our debit card (cash back) or go to a network ATM. When we were considering doing our mortgage through them it was all electronic. I don't know why I would ever need a branch nearby.

I have been banking with them since September the closest branch is also about an hour or so away. I have my direct deposit, line of credit, credit card and car loans all with them. I never have an issue with my direct deposit and my checks for tomorrow are already showing in my pending deposit status on my online checking. I have absolutely no complaints and their mobile deposit is amazing. Depending on what checking account you select it does give you ATM reinbursement. Hope this helps!
