Score Alert: 35pts down on Equifax, but my balance went down.

Recieved score alert from MYFico- existing account change

HSBC Balance: $268 to $245
Past due: N/A to 0
No other changes to accout, but my score went down 35pts. what gives? _______________________

Called MyFico and he said that they don't calculate scores just retrieve them from bureaus who use a fomula purchased from MYFICO. Each bureau has a different FICO formula.

Current Score: 624

Just spoke with Equifax and they stated that because my past due status went from N/A TO $0, it means that sometime in the past I was past due.

If I was never past due it should have a past due status of N/A.

And, that could trigger a point drop when it changed to $0. Did I just get a line of BS or is this possibly true. Doesn't my 30 day late two years ago mean that.
