Hello everyone so I have been having a issue with a debt that is not mine. I checked my credit score through credit karma and noticed it dropped. I went to my credit report and viewed an ATT DIRECTV bill that had went to collections. I have never had this service. I called the ATT and the debt collector and nobody could find an account or reason why it was one my report. I disputed with equifax and it was removed. This all happened in July. Well now in September the same account is back on my credit report through another collection company and has taken my credit score down again. I have called this agency but they are based in Florida and with the hurricane approaching they haven't been able to help. I have disputed it with equifax again. What can I do to stop this from happening over and over? Any suggestions?
