Score impact from hard inquiries?

Good Morning All -

Anyone know what the average hit to your FICO per hard inquiry that makes it to your CR?   1 point per?  5 points per?  10 points per?

sorry I don't know--it's pretty vague, people here say it has to do with the ammount of tradelines you have vs new ones you opening, no one has been able to give me a real formula for it, but I'm sure it exists-I'd love to know the exact fico formula, because there must be one

10 points per hard inquiry on both TU and EQ for me.

Could me different for everyone...

I re-read that....very good. IT clears up a few questions that I could't understand.

After a point you stop loosing points. I lost between 20 and 30 points for all of mine. However the Inqs hurt more when lenders look at you then it effects your score. You can be denied credit with a score of 800 with 15 inquiries if lenders think you are seeking too much credit in a short time. (but lenders soften up if the inq are 3 months or older I have found)
