Self Lender Reporting Delayed?

Is anyone experiencing a delay in Self Lender reporting your ongoing payments to the Bureaus?  I am in the 8th month of my 24 month loan with them.  My payments are made by auto withdrawl on the 17th of the month and have always reported on the 31st.  My Experian report does not show a January payment although it was made and acknowledged by Self Lender.  I have written them several times about this and they said that they now report sometime in the first week of the following month and that it can take the bureaus up to a week to post payment (which I am sure is BS).  Well it is now 3 weeks into February and still no reporting.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Self Lender Reporting Delayed?

I have the same problem.

Self Lender was great until January. For some reason the January payment does not show on Experian. I have written them several times about it. It shows on Equifax and TransUnion.

After several emails, Self Lender says they reportered it and there is nothing they can do. I don’t want to bring it up with Experian because I am in the middle of car shopping. If I dispute it the whole account is removed from scoring while they “investigate”. That would certainly drop my score.

I will wait to see what happens with the February payment. I should be done with my car shopping by then and I can take a more aggressive stance with both Self Lender and Experian.

They just gave me bunch of canned responses. I can tell they didn’t look into my account specifically. The front line CS agents may not be able too. Basically they send over all the payment information in batch files at the end of the month. If you ask about your account they just basically tell you stuff like

”look for Lead Bank” or “make sure your credit file is not frozen” (which is so stupid, I had to stop myself from going nuts on the agent)

So I’m over here just waiting.....

Re: Self Lender Reporting Delayed?

Thank you both for using Self Lender, and I'm sorry you're experiencing delayed reporting with Experian. If you can direct message me the email address you use with Self Lender, our team can investigate with our bank partners and Experian to see if there were specific issues relating to your accounts.

My SelfLender has not reported to any of the three Bureaus since December 31st.  I have written SelfLender three times about this.  I will wait a few days until my February payment should report.  If both January and Febrruary do not report I will contact you directly.  Thank you for you follow up on this.

Upon further review, there was an issue identified. The January reports will be resent to Experian within these next few days and this should rectify the issue. Once Experian processes and posts the data, it should update on your credit report later this month.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Self Lender Reporting Delayed?

I am in my 5th or 6th month of my self lender plan and it stopped reporting payments. It is the second week of January and the last payment on file is November. Self Lender is a scam, they will not help, they will give you the run around and it doesn’t work. Self Lender is purposely defrauding people.

Re: Self Lender Reporting Delayed?

This is a well know problem amongst customers and staff. That is why they do not have a customer service phone number. I wish I would have never dealt with self lender. They are ruining peoples credit and lives
