Inquiries
5 this year 3 were for the FNB, Chase, and Syncrony opened this year, One a personal loan with my credit union and 1 for a loan I didnt accept.
I Have 6 late payments on my Quicksilver card during 2012
I Started the year off with one credit card (Quicksilver) with a $1500 limit, So I have made descent progress but looking to go further.
So my question is, should I try getting another descent credit card to help my profile out over time, I figured the sooner i get them sooner my AAoA will go back up over time, or have I done enough in this period of time and should I wait awhile? If I should apply for another credit card, which card would you guys recommend I try for with my credit profile?
Thanks in advance!!
Not sure, I'd rather have 5 cards total than 4 from the way some metrics on the algorithm work but it doesn't really matter.
I'd probably wait for my scores to boost then get a card I actually wanted: you're not in a bad place between the quicksilver as a default card and a Freedom for their rotating quarters... and the higher end cash back or travel cards might be slightly out of reach at a 660. I wouldn't recommend picking up a junk tradeline.

I think you have enough to build a nice profile with 4 cards. If there wax a card that you really needed for a certain area of your lifestyle/ spend etc you probably could go for it but if you let these age and build, i think you will be better off in the end. Sometimes we get caught up in the just one more moment but if we really stop and think, wed probably have only the cards we truely need. Just my average 2 cents
I completely agree with AvgJoe. From a Fico scoring perspective it appears that you are already in prime condition with your 4 revolvers and your installment loans. I would garden and stay put for a while because I'm sure something will come up that you absolutely must have. This will probably put you at 5+ cards, at which time you'll be primed to go for it!
Best credit wishes to you!
Thanks everyone for the input! Looks like I will be letting things mature for awhile and see where I end up, thanks for the advice!
