Should I or Shouldn't I?

Hey All,

Question?  As many of you know my story, we have been trying to refi since last year. Well, we have tried to get deals through a few companies this year and I tell you our scores have taken a hit from inquiries.  We are up to 31 on EQ and 30 on Experian and strangely enough, TU is relatively low.

However, these were all for mortgage refi's but they just won't stop pulling our credit.  In one week we got about 10 inquiries and this was in addition to the other companies that had pulled our credit.  How is this going to make us look, desperate?

We did not authorize all of these inquiries and have not applied to these companies for credit, how can we get this removed?  Can we dispute?  Will that hurt us?

But what about all those inquiries?  Doesn't that look bad to a lender?  I mean it is over the two week period where it would count as 1 inquiry and they are still pulling and I don't know who these people are?

I wouldn't worry as they are mortgage Inqs. CC Inqs would be a different story. Lenders expect consumers to shop around.
