Should I write a Good will letter request?

Hello. Can someone please offer me some advice?

Due to extenuating circumstances, my Macy's Visa account went unpaid for over 60 days, in the amount of $1,250. At that time, my phone service was cut so there was no way for the credit card company to contact me. I returned back to college (living on campus) to pursue a 1 year, second BS degree  (Full Time), so I am not currently working. This was the reason for my delinquency. Last month, I made a payment of $900 on this account, but afterwards, I found out that it was listed as "potentially negative" on my credit report. Is a good will letter/ request feasible in my situation? I intend to pay the balance of $300 by June.

Please Help...Thanks.

In your situation, you can try a GW letter. It is your best option. If at first you don't succeed, then send the letter to another within the company.
