Soft Hits

Hello All, Simply question: Are inquiries by insurance companies for auto, life, etc. considered a 'soft hit' not counting against my scores or a 'hard hit' that does count for the next year? Thanks, David

All of mine have been soft. I assume that is standard just as employment inquiries are soft as well.
