Regions does a soft pull on Transunion - I have tried once a month for the last 3 and failed to get any offers despite a 722 Fico 8 on Transunion. A family member received an offer for $5k SL with a 696 Fico 8 on Transunion.
Everybody, keep in mind the list mentions the credit bureau that a great majority of forum members have reported. Creditors do have the option to pull another if they feel like it.
For example: despite expecting US Bank to pull Transunion, they pulled my Equifax report only for a personal card and a business card. They used Equifax Fico Score 9. the Total Rewards Visa by Comenity hard pulled my Equifax report only (no soft pull on any other), even though i was expecting a hard on Experian and a soft on Equifax.
I don't get preapprovals for Regions either. I have one CC with them currently. So I walked through the application process last week.
I noticed once I got to the terms, I had a solid APR and 0% rate for 18 months. Went a head and pulled the trigger. Regions is as slow as US bank with credit apps. lol Still don't know the out come of this one.
Even before you get to the last section to submit for the HP. They have already softed pulled you.
As far as I can tell, there are only 3 CCs offered for Regions, correct?
Of which, only 2 are no AF. Unless I am missing something.

>>25. Avant Visa Card (Pulls Transunion or Experian) - https://www.avant.com
Is the link for this one correct for prequalify? Looks to be only a log-in if you already have
an account.

on Wallet hub I believe I only see mention of 2 CCs with no AF.
Can you point me to a link that compares all 3 CCs with no AF? Thanks ![]()
EDIT: Duh, I found the link now LOL, thanks anyway ![]()

Was getting ready to see if I pre-q for Regions and when I was ready to put my State in my address,
I noticed my state was missing with the pop-up stating:
"Regions only opens accounts for residents in our 15 state footprint. These states are shown in the droplist"
Oh well, another one to cross off the list I can't apply for. This isn't my week ![]()

Seems like hardly anyone would qualify, just for geographical reasons - Looking at their list, it seems like (aside from Texas) they exclusively serve only the least populous states in the country.
Edit: I just looked up the populations of each state, and it looks like they only serve 28% of the US population - which I guess means they live up to their name ![]()
