My son's wallet was stolen at college. It contained a couple of credit cards, a bank debit card and driver's license. Worst of all it contained his social security card. He has made all the calls to these agencies and banks. I would appreciate it if anyone would recommend one of the identity theft monitoring services that you have had personal experience with. I was looking tonight at Lifelock. They appear the most well known via extensive advertising, buy I have no experience in this area. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Cobbson
I have Life Lock it's good for EQ but gives me no warnings from TU or EX so you know what to expect.
I also had my wallet stolen a few months ago! What I decided to do was put a freeze on all three of my credit reports so that if anyone tries to open an account with my info then I receive a call first. I used the Experian monitoring service that was offered from the Target breech. They opened a case for me and will be monitoring all three of my reports. However I do think the credit freezes were the best thing to do.
