State tax lien

I am trying to buy a house. It came to my attention that I had tax liens on my credit report. I called the comtroller for my state and discovered there were no tax liens under my social security number. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau. If this is found to be an incorrect addition on my credit report and it is removed will my credit score increase?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
