Can someone provide some calrity for me? My Amex statement was supposed to close on tomorrow but I got an alert it closed today (but shows tomorrows date). I wanted to make an additional payment today to lower my balance more. But I am worndering since my statement cut early, will AMEX report the statement balance to the credit bureaus or can I make the payment and expect to get it reported since its right at the closing date? Thanks for any clarity you can provide.
