Status indicators after Chapter 13 discharge

I filed a 13 in 2010, which was discharge in 2015.  One of my accounts was a heloc with wells fargo, which was paid off in 2017 when I sold my house.  I had no payment issues during repayment or post discharge.

I noticed about a week ago that wells fargo was still reporting an active account with Experian, which I disputed since the account was paid in full nearly 2 years ago.  They just updated my account but are now reporting "Debt included in or discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 13".

My Experian score dropped 40 points.  This is the only derog on any report from any creditor.   Is this a valid status indicator? Will I have to live with this mark for 10 years from the closing date of 2017?

Re: Status indicators after Chapter 13 discharge

If the debt was discharged by your payment of the debt as opposed to being under the BK payment terms, then it should not show paid/dicharged under BK.  It would be inaccurate, and can be disputed.
