I got a secured loan from a credit union 1 year and two months ago, and it is still showing on my equifax report as being a new account. From what I have read on other boards, it is my impression that new credit card accounts fall off after one year. Is it different for secured loans? I am really confused, and I want this off my report! There is nothing new about a loan received over a year ago! When will this no longer be considered a new account?
