I have a friend who received the paper check late. It was mailed on Friday and he did not get it until Tuesday of the next week. I was to get a direct deposit and it never came. Finally called and was told that it was taken in an offset for past bills that I owed state. Called state and they said the account had already been paid in full and they will forward a check as soon as they get the funds. One month later I am still waiting.
