Successful PFD, but error removing from EQ

Last December I successfully negotiated a PFD with a small, local collections company (BAS). They did as they said they would and deleted the record from the bureaus. It came off of EX and TU with no problem but there was a problem with EQ. My account with BAS was actually from 2 different local vendors, and the balance from one of the vendors (Gallegos Sanitation) remained on EQ, even though it all should have been deleted. BAS's records indicate that it's been deleted from all bureaus.

I disputed with EQ and the response that came back was that this record isn't reporting. Clearly it IS reporting as it's showing up on my EQ no matter what service I use to pull it. It also clearly affects my FICO score.

BAS says it's not there
EQ says it's not there
myFICO says it is
CreditSecure says it is

What's my next step?

Re: Successful PFD, but error removing from EQ

Were EQ and MyFICO EQ pulled on the same day? Could there have been a delay between the two to cause the delete to appear on one and not the other?

I would pull a new one directly from EQ (not here) and dispute again via mail and include a copy of the first page and the page showing the CA in your CR. I'd include also an explanation of what's going on and a copy of the PFD letter from the CA. Send CMRRR.

Re: Successful PFD, but error removing from EQ

I've pulled my EQ from several sources over the last few months and it's always there. It CHANGED, in that the amount went down, but it never went away like it did on the other bureaus. I'll try another dispute, by mail this time. I don't know what else to do. I've disputed online and by e-mail. And I've also got the Sallie Mae thing on there. What a mess. My TU is like 700 but my EQ is around 550.

Big difference in scores.....

Yea, pull both reports at the same day and same time and dispute from there if listed.
