TU EE Request for BK7 – Update

So I called TU back and requested a Supervisor...Less than 5 minutes later she did an EE on my BK7. Boom, gone!

TU Fico8 jumped 60 points from 715 to 775. Not too shabby.

First attempt for EE at EX was a no go. Couldn't get past the front lines. CSR guy was a complete jerk. Said "who ever told you about EE lied to you. Is there anything else". I think I'll try again next week. Not even going to attempt EQ.

Feels pretty good to see that 775. Wouldn't have known anything about EE if it weren't for these forums!

It is a big relief. Now just need to get the right person EX. Read a few horror stories about EE at EX. Certainly don't want to make any mistakes..

I'd kinda advise you against it. Some people have had success with EX and EE, but for others it went terribly wrong, even though they did everything right.

EX treats EE as a dispute, so results are mixed bag at best

Congrats! That’s quite a nice gain!

Echoing @Remedios here, I actually had an absolute nightmare spawned by trying to get EE from EX that ended up trickling down to EQ and could have made a big mess if my scores weren’t already being suppressed by the very baddie I was seeking EE for. 

That said, getting a derog account removed and getting a BK removed should be entirely different. But I don’t trust these CRAs. Imagine if they updated the date on your BK to later or something!? 😱

I know. I've read many of your posts advising against it. TU was so simple (the 2nd time) I immediately called EX and we know how that turned out. I'm very hesitant to even worry with it.

Your story specifically is one of the horror stories I was referring to. I'm thinking I may just let it fall off naturaly. What's three months after all this time. Besides, not like I'm in a hurry for any new credit...
