I sent in a dispute letter to Transunion on 8/28/09 because of a tax lien that was reporting twice: one as paid,the other not; for a $11,400 judgement that had been satisfied for over 4yrs. yet not listed as such. I also disputed over the phone the same day that i mailed them in. Today both items are corrected! Wow!-does this affect my scores at all- my report has gone from having 3 Public records w/2 being not paid and one paid to 2 public records w/both being paid.
