Thanks myFICO members! 

All of your posts with invaluable letters, experience and collection agency and CRA contact info have really helped me to cross the path to be in good standing when I apply for my mortgage.

I started out on 11/27/07 with

EX fico 519 - upgraded to 656 on 1/3/08;

EQ fico 571 - upgraded to 675 on 1/3/08;

TU is slow to update and I don't know what my current score is.

One of my lenders told me today that I should qualify for a prime mortgage.  My time and money getting my scores on this site was well spent and I will recommend it to anyone.   

Total Logins:58 Total Minutes Online: 1001 Total Posts: 22 Total Messages Read: 3301 and a student loan rehab ofcourse.

If I can do it anybody can.  It just takes a little due diligence.  I think the default status of my student loans being changed to good standing had a lot to do with it, maybe half.  I learned on here how to be knowledgeable and protect myself and my credit from here on out.  I finally got TU to update my report today.  668 up from 539.  Once again thanks to the dedicated members here.  I don't think there is anywhere else to get the raw and harcore info on how to deal with creditors, collection agencies and the CRA's.  I don't think anyone that visits this site and cleans up their credit would ever want to go back down the bad credit alley if they can prevent it.
