Too Many Inquiries

Hi there - I was denied because of " Excessive Credit Reporting Agency Inquiries " by a credit card company, the question is; Can I call for Recon and if I can How? Thanks in advance..

Have you been app'ing?   


How many is too  many?


Best to look at your credit report first and find out if they are legit inquiries and determine how many are routine inquiries.   If the number of new apps is less than 3 for the last year or two, then I would recon.  Or if some of those apps were because you moved and the utility company insisted on running credit to set up a new account, then recon.  But if you have just been app'ing to get new credit, really think about it before recon.
