So today, I get an Experian alert that my score has gone up, and I checked to find my BK7 removed. I followed up by calling TU and the agent said to file a dispute online. I did and instantly my BK7 was removed from the report.
Then I called Equifax, and after about an hour of phone time, they told me they could not remove it yet. My discharge date is 9/5/14. They told me to wait 3 months. So 2 out of 3 aint bad.
Should I try to dispute online requesting EE like I did with TU? Or just wait it out? Thoughts?
@Openwater I know it's so tempting, but you're almost at the finish line and from everything I've read on here about EQ, the risk is just too high. I think you should wait it out.
Based on everything I've read, EQ is the toughest nut to crack, and they do not like it if you hound them about EE.
There's a 99.9% chance they will not remove earlier than 30 days before it's supposed to fall off, and when that time comes, they will do it without being asked.
That is also exactly how it happened for me just a few months ago with my BK7.
Now I am FREE FREE FREE!
Like a monkey off my back!
Never again...
Congrats on the removal. Mine is do to fall off in Sept. on EXP as well. What was your process of removal for Experian? I heard EQ only does Early Exclusions 1 month early.
@DoppelgangerD and @MissLiz I guess you are right, being this close. Might as well suck it up until the time comes... Not really what I wanted to hear, but needed to hear. I hope that it happens automatically 1 month before as well. Thanks for the advise.
@Capricornwon Experian just came off today. I was reading my emails this morining and got a notification that my EX score went up 67 points. I looked and it was gone. Then tried the other 2, TU worked, EQ not so much....
Congrats!!
Awesome, I'll be keeping an 👀 on my Experian alerts.

General rules for EE from TU, EX and EQ...
TU - 6 months early
EX - 3 months early
EQ - 1 month early
Does that also apply for late payments?
@cashcardscore No, I just called Experian & the Rep. said Early Exclusions are not applied for late payments, only on Accounts or Public Records.
