TransUnion sometimes says 0 score

If I look at credit karma, my TransUnion score always shows on there, never a problem.  I have noticed sometimes if I try to do the prequallify for a loan from one of the online banks, it will deny me because either they can't find my credit history or like today it came back as my score is 0.  It's always TransUnion that shows these reports.  Any ideas why it would be doing this?  I'm thinking I need to give TU a call.

Zero isn't actually a score. It likely means "no data".  You could have a split file, and yes you should reach out to them at your earliest convenience to get to the bottom of it.

You can register a free account with tu, which will give you your tu credit report. Doesn't give a score, but you can check all the data.

The score from ck is vs3, not fico. Most lenders use fico.

You can get a free eq fico8 score right here at myfico.

Re: TransUnion sometimes says 0 score

I did create an account at TU and after requesting the report it tells me it cannot give me the report online so something screwy going on there.

I know CK doesn't use the same system as FICO does but I find it weird that I have a TU score there but for whatever reason TU isn't generating a report for me on their own system.  Definitely calling them Monday.
