Transunion Fire Drill - CU/Bank Suggestions?

Logged in today and noticed all my Transunion Inquiries were gone. I know all 12 of them will be back soon. So, decided this would be a good time to start a Transunion App spree. Primary objective is to open a few new LOC's with a few CU's/Banks who pull TU and potentially a couple of CC's as secondary.

So far I have applied with Security Service. Membership app takes 24hrs to process. I will be applying with Consumers CU this evening. I dont qualify for Boeing. Cap1 has a prequal for a Venture for me. I did have one as of yesterday (CC's are secondary).

TU Fico8 is 732, 0 inquires, 7% utilization, 2 paid tax liens, 2.3 yrs AAOA. Visited Creditpulls data base for direction, not much info on there.

Any other CU or Bank suggestions?

PenFed is another option. The only thing to be careful about is when the inquiries come back there is the low risk that any new accounts can AA you or worse close the account because they see you as more of a risk then when you were when you applied.

Thanks for the reply. I already have LOC's with Penfed and NFCU. Penfed pulls EQ, any other suggestions on a TU pulling Credit Union?

Re: Transunion Fire Drill - CU/Bank Suggestions?

Don't just select creditors.  Sort out your needs/wants and use that to find specific products that suit you.  If that's with a bank then go with that bank's product.  If that's with a CU then go with that CU's product.

HP's are typically a small factor.  However, they can have a bigger impact for those with thin credit profiles and/or credit profiles with issues.  If you think not having HP's is going to have a drastic impact on your credit profile then you have bigger issues that you should be looking at addressing versus hoping to slip in with no HP's.

Creditors routinely SP to review your credit so don't rely on the TU glitch.
